Christmas Break Cast Sock

When my holiday plans suddenly included a broken leg and cold toes, I turned to my hook for comfort and created this cheerful beaded Christmas tree.  This fun cast sock can also be a stand alone holiday decoration. Read the story and make this sock with easy-to-follow illustrated directions

This  project is quick to crochet and a perfect pattern for using small amounts of yarn in your stash: the tree requires between 30 and 70 yards of a medium yarn (depending on the size you want to make), and the star requires about 4 yards of either a fine or light yarn.
